Description:
Project #003 - Road Closure and Storm Proofing
This Stewardship project requires services for the Contractor to stormproof and close four (4) roads on the Clackamas River Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest. Stormproofing involves constructing and/or improving drainage structures on roads to be closed or constructing driveable drainage structures on a segment of road to be kept open. Closing roads involves constructing a series of berms, or barriers made of natural material (rock, logs, etc.) at road entrances in locations where topography facilitates closure.
